Metrolinx, an Ontario Government organization that oversees the improvement of transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas, commissioned RDHA to design a new emergency generator tower to replace a decommissioned one that serviced Toronto’s Union Station. The project is situated on Toronto’s westbound Gardiner Expressway off-ramp to Yonge Street, immediately adjacent to the historic Scott Street Interlocking Signal Tower.

House Brise / Sidney Quintela Architecture + Urban Planning

Customers wanted a beach house to gather family and friends on weekends and holidays. Located in Praia do Forte, on the north coast of Bahia, the residence has 580m² distributed over two floors and a basement. The project, started in 2021 and completed the following year, posed a challenge for the team at Sidney Quintela Architecture + Urban Planning office, especially in meeting the family’s desire for a variety of spaces in the residence, both for hosting and leisure.

apm Gallery in Haikou GAOXINGLI / Dazhou And Associates

In early 2021, the Noya team proposed the renovation scheme of Haikou GAOXINGLI. Dazhou and Associates has completed the design of two iconic buildings, NOYARD and APM. Situated on the east side of the block, apm, was a newly built two-story building with a pitched roof. We intend to transform it into a small-scale community art gallery, infusing contemporary art into the community and driving vitality on the east side of the block.

Sited on the outskirts of a port city, Tuticorin, the 5000sq.ft residence offers solace reflecting the relentless shoreline. The house, The Billy O’ Tea” is personified as a docked ship over the parcel, homing the residers to balance the synergy between the East Indian cultural background and the coast.

Transformation of commercial premises with a reduced surface area. The program required the optimization of a small 50 m2 space for a variety of simultaneous uses. The intervention is based on maximum purification plus the incorporation of bespoke furniture elements that relate to each other. The geometric adaptation of the pieces produces a series of synergies that, around a pillar, allow for different spatial configurations and cease to be an obstacle.

Sayeh Residential Building / Ali Haghighi Architects

This project was referred to us at a time when its structure was based on a neoclassical design. The client’s request was to revise the design of the plans and facade in a modern style. This building has 5 residential units with an area of 330 square meters on each floor, one residential unit on the ground floor near the lobby, and three underground floors. According to the existing structure and the implementation of basement ramps in order to provide maximum parking on the mentioned floors, the common areas of the building include a sports space and a communal space with a movable roof on the roof and adjacent to the roof garden.

Its main purpose is to offer a healthy, welcoming, and environmentally friendly environment, prioritizing solutions that minimize dependence on conventional energy resources.
