Shajin Primary School is located by Mingyue Lake in Shajin village, Yubei District, Chongqing(Now the Chongqing Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone), which was built in the late 1980s. As a former rural primary school, it was abandoned in the early 21st century. Now it is transformed into a museum for the relocation of universities in the Great Rear of the Resistance War and supporting public service space.

In creating an anchored place for life and its daily rituals to unfold, Emplacement is designed to be able to accommodate change, remain relevant, and through attention to detail and craft, last the tests of time. Replacing an existing 1970s dwelling that had been left to the elements, the proposal is proportioned from the exterior and feels generous from within. The planning ensures efficient planning for its five bedrooms, a multi-car garage, and open living areas, while also ensuring residents never feel disconnected.

For the Annecy Paysages 2021 exhibition, we had the opportunity to design a gazebo. A prism-shaped structure is perched on the edge of the lake of Annecy, on the southern edge of the Parc Charles Bosson. Another folly, a gazebo, was added to the park. Inspired by traditional gazebos, the installation invites visitors to expand their perception of the Annecy landscape.
