The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) awards the Stirling Prize annually to the building judged to have made the greatest contribution to British architecture. The six-strong shortlist for 2022 includes buildings by Niall McLaughlin Architects, Hopkins Architects and Henley Halebrown.

With two “ambitious” housing schemes and four places of learning in the running, RIBA said this year’s projects were chosen for their focus on sustainability and community.
