Casa De Mi Luna blends in to the local vernacular by way of form and materiality. As local regulation requires, there is a strict code for the shape and the colour of new built houses in the area of the Český kras nature reserve, but we took this a step farther by using natural materials as well. The house is clad in traditional terracotta roof tile, lime render and local larch. The interior is based on an organic and playful open plan which allows the individual spaces to be simultaneously differentiated and connected.
